I’ve built two houses in my life, and Erica was the architect for both. I worked with her early in her career as a commercial architect in Manhattan, and I knew then that when it came time to design my own homes, she was the one I wanted. Decades apart, Erica designed two very different houses for us, each centered on the same goal: supporting an active, healthy, nature-focused lifestyle. She listened closely, collaborated joyfully, and translated what mattered most to us into beautifully designed, highly functional homes. Balancing the very different needs of my wife and me was no small task, and Erica handled it with real skill. I met Erica Broberg when my wife and I were contemplating building a new home in East Hampton. Once we started on preliminary drawings we know she was the perfect architect. She totally understood our needs and produced a plan that was exactly what we were looking for. The home is beautiful and we received many compliments. Erica was so easy to work with. Great ideas, excellent attention to details and wonderful communication. Building a home is no small undertaking but Erica was our go to person. Couldn’t have done it without her. Erica Broberg completed a complex renovation of our upper Eastside prewar apartment. We purchased an estate condition apartment in what was considered a difficult co-op building. Erica negotiated with our co-op board easily. We wound up with exactly what we wanted in terms of design. Our apartment is elegant and refined, yet still functions perfectly for our young family. Erica also suggested a contractor that she had worked with prior that we loved. We are very happy with our team and are planning on using the same team for our ski home next year. Erica is the best of the best!

Erica’s insane attention to detail, understanding of products/materials/trends, and creative eye make her an amazing asset to anyone renovating or building. As a mother of three, who has worked with her on two different home renovations, she has been an incredible voice of reason. I had an amazing work experience with Erica Broberg Smith. She is so incredibly talented it is another level. What I love about Erica is that she focuses on how you actually live and designs a beautiful residence that also maximizes every inch of your house without feeling cluttered. An example was she put drawers under our banquette and made sure that we didn't have handles protruding on them so that people wouldn't knock their legs against them when they sat down. She created a 'mom desk' office area in the kitchen and put drawers on the end of our counter for extra room as well as a chic bar area. Erica was wonderful to work with---she is fast and reasonable and very thoughtful! We had her renovate half of our house taking down an old solarium and updating the kitchen and adding a mudroom and pantry. Everything is a show stopper. I highly recommend her.
